The Transmission Company of Nigeria hss energized a new 100/125MVA power transformer at the 132/33kV Effurun Transmission Substation on February 6, 2025.
The transformer increased the substation's capacity by 80MW, bringing it up to 176MW, allowing Benin DisCo to provide more bulk power to its customers in Effurun and the surrounding areas.
The upgrade is part of the ongoing TCN-World Bank power projects execution across the country.
