The General Manager, (Transmission) Lagos Region, Engr. Adeshina Olatunbosun Adeonipekun, represented the MD/CEO, TCN, Engr. (Dr.) Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz, at the Investiture Ceremony of Engr. Felix A. Adegboye, FNIEEE, FNSE, as the 22nd President of the Nigerian Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (NIEEE). The event was held today, February 21, 2026, at the Marriott Hotel, Ikeja G.R.A., Lagos, Nigeria.
The event, organised by the NIEEE, featured an investiture lecture delivered by Engr. Dr. Femi Okunade, FNSE, FloD; the inauguration and decoration of the 2026 National Executive Committee; a special fellowship conferment; and the presentation of awards.
Also in attendance were Engr. Ishola Bilaminu Adegboye, GM, MD NISO’s Office, representing Engr. Abdu Mohammed Bello, Managing Director (NISO); Engr. Felix Olu, FNIEEE, Immediate Past President of NIEEE; Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, FNSE, Immediate Past President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers; and other distinguished guests.
