The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public that bulk power supply has been restored to Owerri 132kV Transmission Substation following the completion of a maintenance exercise at the facility.
The maintenance exercise, which led to a temporary interruption of supply today from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm, was carried out to enable the System Lines crew replace a deeply cracked isolator on Tower 16.
With the completion of the exercise, bulk power supply was fully restored at 4:36 pm, today, enabling Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHEDC) off-take electricity supply to customers in Owerri, Ahoada, and Yenagoa.
TCN appreciates the patience and understanding of customers in the affected areas and apologizes for the inconvenience caused during the maintenance excersice.
