The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to notify the public of a planned preventive maintenance exercise at its Irrua 132/33kV FC Transmission Substation on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 10 am to 5 pm.
The scheduled maintenance is to enable TCN contractors carry out the replacement of a 300mm² busbar conductor with a superior 800mm² conductor at the Irrua Transmission Station.
Consequently, the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) will be unable to off-take electricity to customers in Ekpoma, Agenebode, Uzebba, Agbor, Ubiaja, and Ehor, during this period.
TCN apologises for any inconvenience this may cause customers in the affected areas.
