The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public of a scheduled preventive maintenance exercise at the Kukwaba 132/33kV Transmission Substation from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
The exercise will enable TCN engineers carry out annual preventive maintenance on a 60MVA transformer bay and its associated switchgear.
Consequently, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), will be unable to off-take bulk power supply to customers in Galadimawa, parts of Lokogoma, Games Village, Lugbe, Pyakasa, Aleita, Chika, and Durumi.
TCN apologizes for any inconvenience this interruption will cause electricity consumers in the affected areas.
