The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public that an urgent maintenance exercise has been scheduled on the 33kV Jiwa Feeder at the 132/33/11kV Suleja Transmission Substation on Friday, 24th July, 2026 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
The 2-hour maintenance downtime is necessary to create a safe working space for TCN engineers to work on a faulty line circuit breaker in the substation.
Consequently, Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will be unable to off-take electricity supply to its customers in Dakwa, Madalla, Zuba, COE-FCT, Zuba FHA and Tungan Maje.
TCN apologises for any inconvenience this outage may cause electricity consumers in the affected areas.
Power supply will be restored immediately after the successful completion of the maintenance work.
