TCN Transmission News
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) hereby informs the public that the TR1 60MVA transformer at the Oworonshoki Transmission Substation, which was out of service due to heavy flooding at the station, has been successfully restored by TCN’s maintenance crew at exactly 07:53hrs of 30th june 2026.
Power supply has now been restored to Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) for onward distribution to customers within the affected axis, as all feeders radiating from the station are now back in service.
TCN assures the public of its continued commitment to maintaining a reliable and stable transmission network.
