The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, has reaffirmed its commitment to sustained collaboration with the Nigerian Society of Engineers, NSE, to advance the nation's power sector.
The MD/CEO of TCN, Engr. Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz, received a delegation from the NSE, Maitama Branch, on Tuesday, 30th June, 2026, at the Corporate Headquarters in Maitama, Abuja.
Engr. Abdulaziz noted the importance of long-standing relationship with the NSE and reiterated TCN’s resolve to continue to work closely with the engineering body in driving technical excellence and sector development.
The Chairman, NSE Maitama Branch, Engr. Itodo Thomas, commended the MD/CEO on his reappointment for a second term and acknowledged TCN’s achievements in infrastructure upgrades, substation expansion, and network stability efforts under his leadership.
The visit ended with the presentation of an award and gifts to the MD/CEO in recognition of his contributions to the engineering profession and the power sector.
The engagement was attended by TCN’s Executive Director, Transmission Service Provider, Engr. Dr. Oluwagbenga Ajiboye; General Manager, Transmission Service, Engr. Ali Sharifai; and General Manager, Operations, Engr. Godwin Aguiyi.
