The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public that its maintenance crew will carry out a planned preventive maintenance on its TR2 60MVA 132/33kV power transformer at it's Gwagwalada 330/132/33kV Transmission Substation on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Consequently, there will be a two hour bulk power supply interruption through the said transformer. Within the period, Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), will be unable to offtake power from the 60MVA transformer for supply to its customers in NNPC Generating Company, Gwagwalada and environs.
TCN apologises for any inconvenience this exercise will cause the affected customers and assures that bulk power supply will be restored immediately after maintenance work is completed.
