The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public that a planned maintenance exercise has been scheduled at its Kubwa 132/33kV Substation on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
The exercise will enable TCN maintenance crew replace faulty 33kV NIPP feeder circuit breaker and a punctured yellow phase current transformer with new units.
Consequently, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will be unable to offtake electricity supply to customers in Kubwa, Bwari, Army Resettlement, parts of Dutse Alhaji and adjoining areas during the maintenance period.
TCN apologises for any inconvenience the planned maintenance may cause electricity customers in the affected areas.
