TCN Transmission News
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public that its maintenance crew will carry out scheduled maintenance on the 100MVA transformer at Irrua 132/33kV Transmission Substation on 2 and 3 November 2026, from 10:00am to 5:00pm each day.
The exercise will enable TCN contractors commission the SERGI fire protection system installed on the transformer.
Consequently, Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) will be unable to off-take bulk electricity for onward distribution to customers served by the Ehor, Uzebba, Ubiaja, Ekpoma and Agbor 33kV feeders throughout the maintenance period.
TCN apologizes for any inconvenience this planned maintenance will cause electricity customers in the affected areas.
