Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has appealed to the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), to expedite action to speedily complete the ongoing construction of a new transmission substation at Ede, Osun State.
Adeleke made the appeal when he visited the corporate headquarters of TCN on Monday January 29 (today).
The Governor said that the 2×60MVA transmission substation is a crucial project that when completed, would improve the economy of Ede and the entire state
Responding, the MD/CEO, TCN, Engr Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz, assured that the substation which is 90% completed would be commissioned and energized before the end of this year.
Abdulaziz reiterated the commitment of TCN to complete all its ongoing projects across the country, revealed that the DC Transmission Line to power the Ede substation has been completed.
