In a significant step towards enhancing the company's operational efficiency and digital transformation, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on Tuesday August 26, 2024 commenced its two-week Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Organisational Training session for staff.
Declaring the training open, the MD/CEO, Engr. Sule Abdulaziz, represented by the ED, TSP, Engr. Oluwagbenga Ajiboye, said that the ERP training aims to connect TCN Corporate Headquarters to 10 Regional Transmission Offices and 24 Work Centres nationwide.
In her remarks, the ED HR & CS, Mrs Abiodun Afolabi, emphasised that the ERP training session is necessary to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilise the ERP system. She stressed that each participant has been carefully selected to serve as trainers, who in turn will educate others in their respective places of assignments.
While reaffirming the importance of feedback, Mrs Afolabi disclosed that participants would submit reports at the end of the training, underscoring the significance of this initiative in driving excellence and transforming operational efficiency in TCN.
She highlighted that the training, sponsored by Agence Française de Développement (AFD) under the Abuja Feeding Scheme Project, has high expectations for results.
