In his welcome address, Acting General Manager Transmission, Kano Region, Engr. M.K. Bello emphasised the importance of sustained collaboration among stakeholders in achieving improved electricity supply across the region.
The Head of Industrial Customers, Alhaji Jamilu Salisu Ahmad, who led the KEDCO delegation, sought the support of TCN and NISO in the deployment of smart and check meters on feeders. He noted that this initiative would enhance monitoring, detect irregularities, and significantly reduce energy losses within their network.
The meeting further discussed measures to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen service delivery as part of a strategic interface aimed at improving power supply and reducing energy losses in the region.
All parties reaffirmed their commitment to continuous engagement and joint initiatives geared towards ensuring reliable and efficient power supply to customers in Kano and its environs.
