TCN Transmission News
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public that a planned maintenance has been scheduled at its Ajaokuta 330/132kV Transmission Substation on Tuesday, 25th August 2026, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The exercise will enable TCN maintenance crew undertake annual preventive maintenance on the bay of the Ajaokuta-Itakpe-Opened-Okpella line.
Consequently, Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will be unable to off-take power to supply customers in Okene Township, Mackfarm, part of Okene Community, Iyamoye, Magongo, Ogori, Ihima and its environs.
TCN apologises for any inconvenience this outage will cause electricity consumers in the affected areas.
