The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public about an annual preventive maintenance at its Gwarinpa–Suleja 132/33kV line 2 bay switchgears and associated equipment, scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Consequently, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will experience a 20-minute interruption of power supply only to customers in Suleja Township, FCT College of Education, Field Base, Zuba, Sabon Wuse and environs.
The interruption is to enable the transfer of load from Gwarinpa–Suleja Line 2 to Kubwa–Suleja Line 1 to facilitate the maintenance exercise without a prolonged outage.
TCN apologises for any inconvenience this may cause consumers in the affected areas.
