The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public that an urgent maintenance exercise will be carried out at its 330/132kV Gwagwalada Transmission Substation on Wednesday, 2nd September, 2026, from 10 am to 1 pm.
The three-hour exercise will enable TCN maintenance crew carry out urgent maintenance on the 33kV 6MVA earthing reactor at the Substation.
Consequently, Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will be unable to off-take electricity to customers around Aso Villa, Asokoro, African Medical Center, Kabusa, EFAB Estate, Apo Resettlement, Zone E Extension, Trademoore, and adjoining areas.
TCN apologizes for any inconvenience this will cause electricity customers in the affected areas.
