The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public that its maintenance crew will carry out scheduled maintenance on the bay switchgears and associated equipment of the Katampe–Gwarimpa 132kV Line II at the 132/33kV Katampe 1 Transmission Substation on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 10am to 4pm.
Consequently, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), will be unable to off-take electricity for onward supply to customers in parts of Kubwa, FO1, Gbazango, Byazin, Byazin Across, Dutse Alhaji, Dutse Makaranta, Ushafa, Bwari and environs, parts of Suleja, Kaduna Road, Sabon Wuse, Dikko, Madalla, Zuba, Dakwa, Tugan Maji and environs.
TCN apologises for any inconvenience this will cause electricity customers in the affected areas.
